My wife, Krystal, and I were both born and raised in South Snohomish County and are proud products of the Everett Public Schools. Krystal teaches middle school in the district, and we love raising our four children—Kallen, Olivia, Sloane, and Benson—in Mill Creek, in the same community that shaped us.
After graduating from the University of Washington, I worked in the private sector and began my public service with an appointment to the Mill Creek Planning Commission in 2014. I later went on to serve on the City Council, and in 2018 I was honored to be elected to the State House of Representatives. Since April 2020, I’ve served as County Councilmember for South Snohomish County and been laser focused on managing the rapid growth of this region.
Being homegrown here gives me a deeply personal stake in our future. I’m committed to helping our communities grow in ways that support families, strengthen neighborhoods, and keep South County a place we’re all proud to call home.
